I told myself I would not do stupid shit with my car

Then I discovered how easy it is for Hondata to reflash my ECU and let me have more fun with the car. VTEC kicks in earlier, the rev limiter gets bumped to 8600, and the mid range gets a bump in hp and torque.

All I would literally need for them is to have a simple form filled out and a cold air intake on the Si.

Send help please. Please destroy all forms of debit/credit cards I have.

Agreed, I find stock cars are sometimes boring, modifying them shows of your own nature. Truck nutz show one type of personality as much as a nice ecu reflash shows another.

I told that to myself when I bought my GTI earlier this year. Getting lowering springs installed later this week and have an intake on it already. New wheels to follow soon after. Telling myself to not mod never works.

The induction wail between 3500 to redline is one of the things I really miss about that car. Didn’t do anything for power really, but it sure sounded glorious.

Funny story .. unlike flashpro, for the RSX reflash you have to send the ecu to Hondata to get a daughterboard installed. They don’t do direct customer sales so I had to meet a reseller guy a few miles from Hondata’s offices in a sketchy industrial park. I then pulled the ecu and waited with a basically disabled car for a few hours until he finally came back.
